The Lord Leatherdale daughter Gwendolyn is the dam of the foal Vincenzo B. Gwendolyn is the only offspring of the mare Dereina s. Negro and comes from a very strong lineage. Dereina competed in the sport under the name Doortje Subtilia and competed at the Inter I level. She is the full sister of, among others, the international Grand Prix horse Elegance, who competed in numerous international championships under the Spanish rider Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, including the last European Dressage Championships in Crozet. She is also a full sister of the Inter I dressage horse Kadanz.

Their dam, Reina, also competed at Small Tour level, was Dutch Champion of older mares, and is the granddam of, among others, the KWPN approved Everest, the Big Tour horses Iris, Jardin, and Kingsdale, and the Small Tour horses Jackson and Magna Carta (aka Irvin).
